We are proud to have performed extensively in western
Canada, especially throughout Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.
We have also performed in Toronto, Los Angeles, Seattle, Tarpon Springs
(Florida), and Prague.
Also, in 1987 and 1989 we were privileged to perform in Greece.
- Daily shows at the Edmonton
Heritage Days Festival at the Greek Pavilion on August 4, 5, and 6 2007. This
three day festival showcases over 100 different world cultures represented
by different peoples and communities.
- Performance in Prague for the
IFB Dance 2005 Bohemia festival.
Groups from all around Europe were in attendance.
- In 1984 KYKLOS, along with two other cultural
organization were involved in a television Christmas special which aired each
year on local television for five years.
- In 1986 we had the honour to perform at the
world renown Edmonton Folk
Music Festival with guest artists from Greece in front of an audience
of 15,000.
- In 1987 we had the honour to perform in Kalambaka,
Elesona and Siatista during their various festivals.
- In 1989 we had the honour to perform in Nafplion,
Greece as guests of the Peloponnese Folklore Institute.
- In 1991, 1992, 1994 KYKLOS was the presenting
dance group at the Greek Island Pavillion at the Folklorama
Multicultural Festival in Winnipeg.
- In 1995 KYKLOS participated and performed at
the Klironomia event in Toronto.
- In 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2003 we performed
and competed at the Greek
Folk Dance Festival and Competition in California.
- In 1988, 1996, and 2000 we performed at the Epiphany
Celebration in Tarpon
Springs, Florida
- A Two hour stage show at the Edmonton Timms
Center for the Arts on March 11, 2001. The show highlighted Greek dances
from various stages of our lives: marriage, Easter, etc. The show included
guest participation from the Dionysos Dancers of Edmonton and the
Dionysos
Hellenic Folk Dance Troupe of Calgary.
- A performance during the Labour Day long weekend (2003),
at the Folk Dance and Music Festival in Kimberley, BC. This festival included groups from all
over Canada and the United States.
